Are you journalist material?

Is a career in Journalism for you? Have a look at our checklist :

You need to be:

A gossip - A journalist is always interested in er is going on, whether it’s what your maid tells

about your neighbors, or whether it’s the conversation among people. This is how you pick up ideas for stories to do. But the gossip needs to be backed by facts.

Totally inquisitive - The questions why, what, where, when and how should always be playing in your head, no matter what the situation and circumstances.

Journalists bring you the news. Floods, earthquakes, wars, murders, robberies, fashion, kidnappings and about political crises around the world. They are usually or unusually ‘in the thick of things!’ Journalists bring information to the public. They work for newspapers, magazines and television stations. They interview people, collect information, conduct research and write stories. They bring you the world.
